The Formal Theory Study Group (FTSG) invites all formal theorists to attend a study day and Formal Dialogues panel on musical form. These will take place on Sunday July 13 2025 at the University of Manchester, immediately before the Society for Music Analysis’s annual Music Analysis Conference (McrMAC) on July 14–16, and feature the conference’s two keynote speakers.

Registration for the study day has now closed but the Formal Dialogues panel is free and open to all without registration.
