The International Conference on Analyzing Popular Music took place at Liverpool, 2-4 July 2013. It responded to recent work in the analysis of popular music that has set compelling new agendas. The conference explored fundamental questions of theory and analytical method relating to popular music.
The three internationally distinguished keynote speakers were:
